My DIY projects
Through the years I've found an enjoyment in seeing projects that might require a coat of paint, needle and thread, fabric, wood, hammer and nails. An artwork that starts with just a thought.
It's here I hope you too will be inspired to try your hand at something new. Now let me warn you it's addicting just like coffee. You can't just have one cup and be satisfied. HA! So grab your supplies and lets get creating.
Summer nights are great for back porch sit'in, minus the mosquitoes. Here in Texas the days are so hot either nights or early mornings are the best times to enjoy your porch. When we moved into our house about 2 years ago, the first thing I wanted was string lights. There's something about them that sets the mood to relaxation.
Father's Day is fast approaching, and like Mother's Day it's a great day to get our men something that they will enjoy. Are you looking for that special Father's day gift for the Dad that loves to do DIY's or should I say in my case might be wrangled into doing them. HEHE!
To help you celebrate, I've put together some ideas to help you in choosing that perfect gift.
Hey Homies the guest bathroom is coming along and I'm loving it! I never thought I'd actually want to go hang out in that bathroom but I find myself going in there, staying for hours like a man, while checking my facebook and Instagram.
Bathrooms can be beautiful and some can be just well, unbearable. Now if you have boys in your home, yours might always be unbearable despite the decor. That would be mine. However, in addition to the smell being off, the mauve color is screaming 90's, the only thing missing is the Tuscany border up on top. So come along with me as I share with you the before and after of transforming my guest bathroom.
When we moved into our house almost 2 years ago, I took what I had and threw it into my guest bedroom with no real plan. I even excepted the paint color on the wall! What!! So not me, but time and budget was not in the plan yet to give it some love.

Thank you for following my kitchen update journey. Full disclosure I began this project before Thanksgiving but didn't finish it until two weeks before Christmas. I'm not sure why I take on big projects like this during the holidays. My intentions are always good but here it is in the new year and I'm just now blogging about it. Sorry for the delay, friends. Sometimes life just gets in the way or I take on more projects before blogging the last one. I did promise you the details, so here it goes.
Hey Friends, Spring is on it's way! We've been getting lots of rain here in South Texas and the trees are already blooming. I don't know about you but I'm ready to see some green. To help you along while we wait for Springs arrival, I've got a really fun easy craft for you.
I always wanted to get rid of my backsplash, sometimes it just takes the cuts and a hammer.

Life goes fast, the year don’t last. Live for the future and forget the past. So I’m not sure I can completely forget the past, it had memorable moments with challenging downs but that has me looking forward to a productive 2019.
