Hi ya'll, Thanks for stopping by! I'm Jacqueline Gilbreath the lady behind Welcoming Home, located in Austin, Tx. I love coffee, chocolate, shopping and watching Netflix.

Since you're here let me take a minute to explain what I do.

I'm a professional Home Decorator for all your seasons of living.  From the first steps of getting your dream home to those in-between holiday celebrations. As your life and needs transition so does your home.  Wherever life takes you, be it from one home to the next or just refreshing the one you already have, I can help bring joy and peace into your home through functional home decor. 

My decorating style can be described as ‘homey with a twist of transitional, topped with a touch of farmhouse glam’.  I enjoy the freedom of creating and merging a mix of these styles throughout my own home, please come inside to see some of my creations.  My objective in all my designs is to create a space not only for family members but for your guests to walk in and immediately feel drawn to relax and stay a while.  

As we become better friends, you'll find that here at Welcoming Home I not only decorate, but I'm also an avid DIY'er, and furniture refinisher.  I love to share many of those projects here and welcome you to take inspiration from them as you see fit. Please share your in-process pictures stories or final results either here or on any of the other social media locations Welcoming Home can be found. We’ve got a great supportive community and we’d love for you to join. Doing it myself or with a little help runs deep in my veins from the very first time I repainted my bedroom on a whim as a teenager to my latest projects I’ve completed in my own home. Eventually you might come to see that my obsession for pillows is considered boarder line compulsive but, Hey no judging! there's no such thing as too many pillows. Let me know what your décor obsessions are and we can share in our unabashed love for things that make us feel good.
